- Care Pregnancy Resource Center is a non-profit,
tax-exempt volunteer organization that strives to help women with crisis pregnancies while
adhereing to the principles set out by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- In addition to offering guidance and
encouragement, we conduct a variety of help groups for survivors of sexual abuse, drug and
alcohol abuse, and for those who have had previous abortions. We also have parenting
incentive programs and several other ministries. See our What we do
page for more information.

Statement of principle
|
- 1. The Care Pregnancy
Resource Center is an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ through His church. Therefore, the
CPRC, embodied in its volunteers, is committed to presenting the gospel of our Lord to
women with crisis prenancies; both in word and in deed. Commensurate with this purpose,
those who labor as CPRC board members, directors and volunteers are expected to know Jesus
Christ as their Savior and Lord.
- 2. The CPRC is committed to
providing its clients with accurate information about both prenatal development and
abortion.
- 3. The CPRC is committed to
assisting women to carry to term by providing emotional support and practical assistance.
Through the provision of God's people and the community at large, women may face the
future with hope and plan constructively for themselves with their babies.
- 4. The CPRC never
discriminates in providing services because of race, creed, color, national origin, age,
or marital status of its clients.
- 5. The CPRC never advises,
provides or refers for abortions or abortifacients.
- 6. The CPRC offers
assistance free of charge at all times.
- 7. The CPRC is committed to
creating awareness within the local community of the needs of pregnant women and of the
fact that abortion only compounds human needs rather than resolving them.
- 8. The CPRC does not engage
in contraceptive counseling or in referring for contraceptives or contraceptive services.
(Married women seeking contraceptive information may be urged to seek counsel, along with
their husbands, from a pastor or physician.) In reference to unmarried women, we advocate
and encourage the position of abstinence from all sexual activity.
- 9. The CPRC recognizes the
validity of adoption as one alternative to abortion, but is not biased toward adoption
when compared with other life-saving alternatives. The CPRC is independent of adoption
agencies, relating to them in the same manner as to other helpful resources. The CPRC
receives no payments of any kind from these agencies, does not enter into contractual
relationships with them, and does not share combined office space.
Adoption agencies are not established under auspices of the CPRC, and the CPRC neither
initiates or facilitates independent adoptions.
